Before installation
Once you've made your purchase, we will be in touch to confirm your installation appointment, and we'll discuss with you everything you need to know prior to your tile installation. In the meantime, however, there are a few things to know.
First, you'll need to prepare the room. While we can move your furniture for you, you'll need to move any fragile items and empty any closets. You'll also want to make sure you handle any other projects, like painting, before your tile installation.
During & after installation
On the day of the installation, someone who is at least 18 years old will need to be home to show the installers to the work area. We'll evaluate the space and make sure your subfloor is ready. Tile has specific subfloor requirements, so this step may take some time.
From there, we'll work on installing your tile. During this time, keep pets and children away from the area until the installation is complete.
After your installation is over, you'll need to stay off your floors for a set amount of time so that the grout can properly cure. We'll let you know how long it'll be before you can start enjoying your new tile!
